| June- My parents, German and Barbara Rivera. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. We surprised them with a party at their church. |

| July- We celebrated Lizzie's first birthday as a Thacker. |
| August- Plum Grove Strings held their first music camp. |
| August- Lizzie had some new candy molds she wanted to try; so one evening, she and Alexis whipped this out. |
| September- Reid purchased a house in Cedar Lake that has a gorgeous view of the lake. |
| October- Our annual mini vacation to Six Flags in Gurnee, IL with the Kattermans. Alyssa and Alyse |
| October-Treasure Island, FL Jeff says that October is Florida's best kept secret. |

| December- Accent Piano Studio (Alexis' business) had a "mini" concert; everything about the concert from the programs to the food was mini. Reid hiding in the back because he came straight from work. |
| December- We had the opportunity to attend the Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier; it was a lovely evening. |
| We spent the night in Chicago and took a walk the next day where we discovered Argo Tea; it is to tea what Starbucks is to coffee. We all got something different and enjoyed our beverages. |
| God has given us opportunities this past year to grow in grace and knowledge, increase our faith, and taste and see that He is good. |
