Indiana Fiddler's Gathering

This is Edwin Layer, he started playing violin in 1936. His teacher knew Brahms and played string quartets with Dvorak in Prauge.

This is Michael Cleavland, he was born blind and deaf in one ear. He is a Grammy award winning fiddler; recording artist; and spokesperson for D'Addario Strings, First Quality Music, and Silakowski Fiddles. Rick says that Michael is the best fiddler he has ever heard.

Jamal, a Purdue professor, really liked Rick's 2nd violin.

Mr. Weil has had the violin booth for 12 years. They are holding Rick's violins.
